About

David Brownlie-Marshall

I work with the arts in Edinburgh, with a professional background spanning fundraising, communications and cultural engagement.

Alongside my work, I take an active personal interest in the city’s creative life, including Edinburgh College of Art and its contemporary art gallery, Talbot Rice Gallery, where I supported the development of the Patrons Programme. I am also connected to the Royal Scottish Academy, and am especially drawn to visual art, photography, creative education and the academic life of the arts, with an interest in where artistic practice, public engagement and ideas come together. I continue to build my own connection with Edinburgh’s arts community as a supporter, patron and collector.
